This is an independent tool run by When Am I Canadian?. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) or the Government of Canada in any way.
Every date, trip, and status period you enter into the calculator is saved only in your own browser, on your own device. It is never sent to us, to any server, or to anyone else — we have no way to see it. Closing your browser tab won't lose your work, but it is also the only thing that removes it; we never hold a copy.
We do not currently collect any personal information from visitors to this site — no accounts, no email addresses, no forms.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how many people visit this site and which parts of it they use. It does not use cookies and does not track you individually across visits — it only reports aggregate numbers, like total visits per day, and cannot identify who any particular visitor is.
If we introduce any feature that collects personal information in the future — for example, a way to be connected with a licensed immigration consultant — this policy will be updated first to clearly explain what's collected, why, and what your rights are over it, before that feature goes live.
